Are you sure this is a Prinzen looks like a full spange. I think it is bad, but not sure as I cannot find it among my pictures. Mainly why I think it is bad is the large beading, which I have not seen on a regular spange. Jim

Hi Jim size is 25 mm x 25 mm as for beading ?

I measured my Prinzen and it is 24.5 x 24.51 which is the size for a Prinzen. As for the beading it is too large. If you can send it back and get a refund. Jim

Thanks Jim- unfortunately got this about 28 years ago so can't return.It came with the green LDO etui that's all I remember.

Hi Troy,

I have to agree with the others. I bought the same prinzen spange a few years back from a reputable dealer. The clips were very long and sturdy (as thick as the spange!). Lucky mine was loose (no ribbon) and I noticed it was marked "0" behind the lower clips so I returned it pronto for a refund

Yep looks the same Jean.I don't normally collect them but I went through a mad phase and bought a few-most of them copies I think having looked at some of the spanges on here and other sites.But its with thanks to this community all my old purchases can be scrutinized and determined fake or good just for confirmation and stored separately from my originals.
