    Some 1957 EKs

This is the crude today made EKII in the form of 1957 with non-magnetic core and a terrible shiny lacquering.

57er EKI with mangnetic core. An early example but without a good frosting to the frame.

1957 EKI and EKII which were owned and worn by a Major of the Luftwaffe of the Bundeswehr who was a bomber-pilot in WWII. Unfortunately I don't know his name. Both crosses with iron-core and in very good quality like the old examples. Both with frosted frames!

Interesting crosses, Major. I especially like the examples from the Luftwaffe vet.
                  Here's a '57 type that I haven't often seen.

57 stuff that was actually owned/worn by vets is pretty neat. Here is a 57 RK worn by Heer RKT Erich lange

Here is the 57 DKiG worn by Heer DKiG recipient Friedrich Metzger. Actually, this is the one he had displayed in his home w/ some of his other medals

Very nice medals too! Especially the EKI 1914 with the soldered clasp.

Here is a `57 that I got from Weitze`s site a while back.
The frame seems to be made from leftover stock from the war as it is very well made.

                          Best regards,
                          Adrian.
