Souval EKI & EKII for discussion

Dear Everebody,

I bought this Souval EKII as copy for my friend, but please take a look. Is it a modern copy, postwar Souval or... can prewar. Unmarked, magnetic core.

My Souval EKI was already here at the forum in 2010, and mostly said that is an authentic prewar Souval. What do you think now after 8 years? Unmarked, magnetic core.
I got it with a S&L EKII, and it belonged to a Kriegsmarine soldier.

On the last photo of the EK1, you have circled the tool mark on the pin.....this looks like the typical postwar "scrape" mark found on 57ers by S&L, and blank core EK1's by Souval which used the same style of pin!
I have several blank core Souval's which have identical pin, hinge and catch setup, and also feature the flaw on the frame...
So for me the EK1 is most likely postwar....."debateable" at best for wartime, always very difficult to be 100% between wartime and early postwar Souval!!
