The little plastic toy soldier lying above it was the original wearer, no doubt!

Wow, just imagine finding an EK1 lying right next to your deck. I mean 60+ years it has been right there and he never saw it. Not to mention the 60 year old leaves on top of it. Not even the guys who made the deck saw it! Amazing!

I love the dark potting soil touch though, really gives it that "I'm gonna screw you hard with this one" look to it.

I have one question. WHY did the seller think it was a good idea to post such idiotic photos? Yes, there are fools out there, but MY GOD MAN! That may be one of the singularly dumb EBAY add I have EVER seen. Only thing better would have been if it was in a pot with soil and sold as "ground-dug."

Just saw the sellers username too, "this is repro" I guess so that he can hit the buyer with that after.

I think it IS in a pot with potting soil. There are no shortages of naive bidders who will bid on it, just like they bid on the other ground dug stuff, Sherwin Williams camo helmets, and the laser cut fakes.

                Hi,

I don't know for sure, but it looks more like the seller is taking the p*ss out of ground dug stories. Cymbals, Ferrets, and his username with a big 0 feedback. Anybody who falls for this deserves it imo.

                Regards

Evaluate the item, not the story and not the seller's reputation!

If you PM/contact me without the courtesy of using your first name, please don't be offended if I politely ignore you!

"NON-FERRETS VARIANT. COMES WITH RARE SILVER RING BELONGING TO SOME GUY WITH NAME ENGRAVED. VERY RARE AND WE FOUND ONLY ONE--REALLY!! BUT IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE NAME, WE"LL TRY TO DIG UP ANOTHER ONE WITH A NAME YOU LIKE."

This is some of the funniest stuff that I have read in awhile. It's comforting to know that no ferrets were injured during the manufacture of the cross.

Desperately seeking a Juncker Knights Cross ribbon loop and well used Knights Cross ribbon!!!
