            Ian....

This sure looks like the one on the WA.com homepage under the heading 'Variations...Curved Trapezoid' half way down.....

            http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/iron...nge/spange.htm

You will notice Sebastian Bianchi's version is distinctly 1st pattern ('curved trapezoid') while the other example shown is one of Richard Gordons which - while being seemingly identical to Seba's in all other respects - looks neither 'curved' nor 'trapezoid' to me.

Some of these curves are extremely slight if not photographed sympathetically, so perhaps Rich will confirm whether this is a result of the photo angle used, or it has been mis-labled...

In addition, this thread EK2 Clasp. Early Junker? also contains a very similar example which was (probably) correctly identified as early first pattern.

While I see only the slightest of curves to your date bar, I would have to vote for 'good' based purely on Rich's example....which has presumably passed expert muster before being posted as a site reference example.

The '14 EK2? who can tell....I can't even see it properley...but $380.00 would seem extremely fair to me.... The spange alone might get that....

            regards

            Marshall

I like the "Spange", so I would give it a
Just to bad with the missing prong.

I cant say much about the cross, so I am not going to

              Best regards

The EK is good too, IMO. (And please -- sell the set on the e-Stand, not here.)

Just to confirm, the date box on mine is slightly curved and this is more obvious from the back. Yes, the angle doesn't show this too well.

I was looking through the Iron Time the other day and while I had not noticed before, there is a pic of one of these there too. See top of page 245
