Well it arrived today! As a bonus it comes in a very scarce original LDO marked case - unusual considering it is a second patter oaks made after the ban on retail examples. These oaks were posthumously awarded - the recipient was killed in June 1944.

Very nice! Did the family receive them in the LDO case?

I believe so - an older collector bought the entire grouping in Berlin very shortly after the wall came down (the family/recipient was from Berlin) and has had it ever since.
