War Merit Cross (without Swords). Just standard?

Hi,
Is this just a standard War Merit Cross with it's case? Nothing special?
It appears to have no makers name. Very good condition both Cross and case.
Any advice greatly appreciated,

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say he yes, it is a "standard" late war production cross.

The case and cross have a nice, balanced patina to each. Nothing special or ultra rare (even thoug far fewer KVKIs were awarded as opposed to the EKI), but nice cross and case none the less.

War Merit Cross

There are absolutely no makers marks on the pin or the back of the medal. The Cross came with several other pieces all won by the same man and the other awards, breast eagles, lanyard and pins etc etc are all in order. I am 100 % sure this Cross is OK because if the other items are all OK it would be more than strange if just one piece wasn't, especially as they all came from the same person.
I just really wondered if it was possible to work out who the maker of the Cross was from the photos, bearing in mind that there are no makers marks anywhere on the Cross or the csae.
