Here is an unmarked EK2 That I've had for some time. I looked carefully on the ring and couldn't find a maker's mark.

Anyone shed some light on who made it?

Thank you. I've been doing some research to understand the specific details on this piece that attribute it to maker 11 (Grossman and Co. by the master list on this forum).

How would I determine that this is a maker 11 EK2 (just for my own education)?

Maker 11 (Grossmann) used a unique (among EK2s) frame and core.

Like any unmarked cross that can be identified, it is the design of the date numerals and the frame elements that differentiate it from others.

L/19 (Hoffstädter) used the same components as 11 for their EK1s, a fact which was discovered back in 2011.

But as for EK2s, 11 is the only maker we know who used this combination of frame and core.
