EK2 modified RK

I found this nice EK2 with a RK ring.
The ring is marking "800".
The EK2 seems to be a SCHINKEL.
I need your opinion please.
Bought outside collectors circles and SOS or others.

That’s interesting. But it’s not a Schinkel cross.

I see two issues with this one.

1. the ring, is only mounted in the small loop. It’s not converted, so the cross would turn the wrong way around your neck.

2. if you don’t have any photos of the cross, it’s only a ek2 with a loop.

I agree with this .

Just a ek2 and someone put the 800 loop on it. Cliff

Using the existing loop it could only hang crooked. Both pieces look nice though and period pix confirm various arrangements.

Thomas is exactly correct.

You have an EK2 with a RK ring and that is all unless you have some provenance or a period photo of this exact cross in wear.

IMO this the cross a good EK2 Gustav Brehmer type and the loop (IMO original ) ,but someone put the this the loop on it ,if not photo then this is just a EK2 with RK loop
