    Godet oaks with swords

    I pick up this set of oak leaf with swords . They look like the are a stamped set not the ones that are out here now. Nice crisp details to them.

      Not a genuine Godet as stamped and therefore a fake made to deceive.

        Hi Dietrich I agree with thatbut the piece looks like it is stamped are they making them stamped or is there a set of dies out there .Cliff

                  Somebody made a fake die and stamped them. This is surely not a Godet die. The stupid notion that the Godet dies survived the war was spread by some people years ago who didn't even know how a good Godet piece should look and where to look to identify them.
