You are 100% correct. I paid 150 Euro (with IC 2nd class from WW I, but the cross is “ok”). Anyway, I will do my “homework” next time…<o =""></o>

Hum, that looks familiar, look through the archives here. Don't be so quick. I remember seen that and I remember a discussion... check it out further.

                    Dear Sebastian,

Thanks for your help. I will be waiting with my heart going “nuts”. It would be very good news if this 1939 bar is not a fake…I will check the archives.

                    Best regards

Robert when I get home I will search through my pictures archives. Sunday is realistic. Check the article on the main site too.

The thing that I seem to recall was the thin attachment between the eagle and the trapezoid. But I can't find it in the archives... may be someone can refresh my memory here.

                            Hi Sebastian,

One more time thanks for your help. I’m still “digging” through hundreds of pages from this forum, but so far nothing…anyway; I will check the main site with greater attention to details as well.

                            Best regards

After hundred’s of web pages and thousands of images later, I can say that I have found one more picture of 1939 Spange to the Iron Cross 2nd Class 1914 like mine. However I was unable to establish any communication with this other Spange owner. But from my understanding he was posting the pictures of the ORIGINAL item! Anyway, I’m not sure what to do now…<o =""></o>
