Could you guys point out some differences between Deschler and Steinhauer and Luck ek2's. They look very similar to me.

Well, for one thing, on a Deschler EK 2 the small ribbon ring is affixed to the top arm of the cross on a "hump" rising up from the center of the arm. Not so on the S&L.George -
Nate, I don't a 4, but I do have a mm1. Mine is as George described with the hump. Also, my mm1 is slightly larger than any other EK 2 that I have. I know panzerman has got a really nice mm1. Maybe he will post a pic of it. Here is mine.

I'm in Tuscaloosa now. I will post the vaulted EK1 later......the one from Mike (mvm71). Wow.... your EK is very pretty with nice frost. Is that from Marc? Is there a maker mark on the bottom of the case? So, if i go to Atlanta...I may pass your old house. Just on my way
