    IC 1st Class floch copy L15 opinions please

    Would appreciate comments. I believe it to be a Floch L15 copy. Thanks for the help!

        1) solder spots on the back,
        2) pin catch
        3) rust stains on front,
        4) date sits low,
        probably 5) the swastika is way lower than the beading.

        It's a Floch.


        I have an EK 2 mm 49. Did not cost much. You live & learn.
        Had an EK 1, the dealer took it back, though he was not happy to do so.

        I am wary of buying an EK 1 Souval after that.

            L15 not a maker and slightly open number 3 in 1939

            Purchased a similar one a year ago without the rust but got lucky as the seller took it back.
            Also the beading in the centre is not coming together correctly.

              The beading also makes a nice F in one of the inner corners. The corner depends on which way up the frame has been attached.

                If you've ever handled one, which I have to get a closer look at it, all four of the inner corners of the beading have a perfect 'x' in them. Also, one will never forget the 'wacky' number 3 in the 1939 date either. And, yes, the core's swasi has a very low profile. It's such a piece of junk.
