So - a note to the "Pricing Police" on the site...
I paid over $1000 for this as it was part of a larger lot from an estate. Didn't give it a close enough look at the time (obviously) and now am stuck with a loss.
Evidently there is a rule about what if any profit we are allowed to make here, I will be sure not to list the M42 SS S/D I got at an auction a few years back for $150, or the Allach statue of Frederick the Great I paid $155 for at an auction, both of which were discussed in the Forum and all agreed were original. I guess I should list those for maybe what - $165 so I am not making too much money....
Really, find something to do, if you want to comment on a pieces merit I am all for it, that is why we are here.

I personally am glad when people sell items they find, as it gives us all an opportunity to potentially purchase those items ourselves. The price of an item will be determined by the market and I don't think any reasonable person would expect a "discount", simply because the owner purchased the item at a bargain price.
Obviously the DKiG is a fake and is relatively worthless. However, it sounds like you have made some good buys on other items, so all is not lost.
Again, most of us appreciate 'pickers" finding items and putting them up for sale; the purchase price is completely irrelevant and the only real issues are current price and originality.
