    DKiG on E-Stand---Thoughts?

    Saw this on the E-Stand.
The seller says that it has scratches but no chips. If you scroll down to the third post, lower picture, it sure does look like a major repair, in that the enamel has been replaced!
    Or am I wrong??

From the photo, it looks like someone might have tried gluing or reattaching the broken chips back in place. Can also see what may be heat marks. I can’t say for certain from the clarity of these photos though.

I tend to follow your opinion Dave.
Too bad about the repaired enamel, otherwise a great cross.

I agree a repair to the enamel but hey, imo its still a beautiful cross. It would be nice to know when it was repaired. If it was un marked i would quite fancy this.

One of those guys I would never buy ANYTHING from. We try to rely on other member's honestly and truth in advertising as best we can to form our cadre of buyers/sellers. This guy will never make it. He's here to dump and make a profit.

He may have not described it very well but i think the pictures he posted speak for themselves.

I have seen a lot of this in todays market....people who paid a lot for a cross(in that cond.) that they bought back in the early 2000 to 2008 trying to sell their pieces(helmet.daggers medals etc.)to get their money back and then some. They paid to much back then and are now trying to get their money back....good luck.

Chipped crosses are OK. Could have happened anytime. I prefer a worn cross that looks more awesome on a tunic and keep that minty thing in the case. So there's a market and there's a price for each. And then there's what is and what is not. And this has some serious chips. If the chips were glued back in or the chips filled with some sort of glue then no thank you. Blurry pics say it all.
