Hello all. I picked up this lovely KVK for a fair price, and was hoping that it's not one of those cases of "price was too good to be true"




The cross itself looks fine, but the ribbon seems too 'fresh'. Hoping for some input!

I don’t see anything wrong with it, other than being beat up a little. Is there a number stamped anywhere on the ribbon ring? This will tell us the maker. Not all crosses are stamped with a number so don’t be alarmed if it has no number. Obviously the mint condition ribbon is a replacement. It’s an original period ribbon.

Had to comb over it with a magnifying glass, but there is a little 4 stamped on it.
