Hiscoll Military Antiques recently listed a KVKI without swords with a wide pin like those found on early Silver and Gold wound badges. I can't remember ever seeing one like this before, and hesitated to purchase it at the asking price. However it has now sold. Is this type uncommon? It certainly looks like a nice quality piece.
