I have one of those too. I believe it to be a "replica" EK1 manufactured after May 1945 for the souvenir market. I collected such items for a while (cigarette lighters, paperweights, etc.) and this cross has a similar machined look. After the war, some of the manufacturers of smaller weapons parts turned to making souvenirs for the occupying forces... At least, that's my theory...
