Offered for the discerning medal and decorations collector
is an unfinished Knights Cross. An example like this is seldom
encountered let alone offered to the public. This piece is
spectacular in its unfinished beauty and complex in its detail.
This was wartime produced with an "800" and "L/12" stamping on the
reverse directly below the center ring. The "L/12" indicates manufacture
by Frank and Reif of Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen.
The frame measures 48.5 mm and weighs approx.15 grams.
The suspension ring is perfect and correct with a stamped "800" and “85”
indicating manufacture by Julius Peitsch of Gablonz.
This is an opportunity to own an unfinished and very rare medal with its
suspension ring for a low starting price. The ring alone normally sells for several hundred dollars. This comes with a 3-day return privilege and an unconditional 100 percent satisfaction guarantee. If KC is returned, you will be responsible for postage and insurance. Good luck and thanks for looking.

I kindly informed the seller:
Dear exmc76,
Hello. I´m sorry but the frames are not original to L/12. L/12 marked frames did not look like this. The ring on top of the frame should not dip down in the frame.
This is the answer i got:
Tell that to Ray Manion , or Bill Shea . Read up on the subject.
Cheers.
