    WW1 I.C. 1st Class - Maker?

I just acquired this cased WW1 I.C. 1st Class. I’m fairly certain it’s an example produced during the 3rd Reich era and would greatly appreciate any information as to who the manufacturer was. Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks TPX. I appreciate your feedback. The stamp is a bit blurry but I think it’s L/18.

L/18 would line up as Mayer so its plausible case and EK came together. TPK

L/18 is BH Mayer and the EK1 is a Mayer with Imp core .
              So a match

Agreed, World War 2 produced 1914 cross, made by Mayer.
