    Many thanks guys for this wonderful advice and do not have the other book, so relied on this one to try to identify the recipient.

    My error!

    Being of German decent (Richter), I do know as Dietrich so well states.....
    that the two dots over the small "a" are not to be ignored as an accident of the engraver but are rather representative for the letter "ä".

    But again, my error.
