          KVK1 and EK2 need closeups.
          Spange fake.
KVK2 and War Merit probably ok.

Is the KVK 1 marked? Dont recognise the hardware.

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

Notice it has the exact same lines in the area around the swat as the one in the thread posted above.

                    Yes die repair or cracks.
Jo Rivet explains this well on my infantry assault badge.
This is my best iab in my collection.

Very interesting. Identification by the defects in the die showing up in the finished piece. Use whatever tools you have to make an identification no matter how subtle they may be. I learn something new every day.

Ok so the ek2 clasp is a fake, but is the ek2 good? Do all of the ribbons look authentic? None of them stand out as fake to me they all have a similar look and feel.

I searched this site and couldn't find anything about the Hindenburg cross with swords. I assume it's a fairly common item? I know they gave these out to all of the ww1 vets and their families so maybe they weren't that big of a deal?

                            The EK2 is good.

While "everything" is faked, Hindenburg crosses are waaaaaay down the list. Originals are not even close to expensive, and yours looks fine.

The ek and kvk are well worthy of going into a collection.
Thank you for posting the better pictures.
