    Finds...EK1s

I bought these some time ago and dug them out because I needed trade bait.

How would you guys rate these value wise? 4 years ago I had to beg someone to take an unmarked cross for DM150, now I see cased ones at EUR500 !!

Would I be able to turn these into a nice Picklehaube?

    One is a cased 65

The other worn, but it is factory domed 8it seems) and has a 100 in a box under the pin

                  Nice EK's Chris,

the cased K&Q '65' I have seen recently for US$390 so somewhere b/w 280-300 euros might be fair. The cased '100' probably US$350 or 260 euros, just bought one of these a week ago. Like your '65'

                  regards Thomas

I saw a cased "65" on a dealer's site recently for Euro 400, but the case had the black bottom.

Ahhh, the old "switch the bottoms of a KVK and EK case and double yer money" trick ?

Well, yeah.... (Or, it could have been a black-bottomed EK case. )

                            Already tried....

                            That 65 is sweet.
