    Has this KVK1 a chance?

Has this KVK1 a chance to be authentic? What could be the possible maker? Maybe the pinsetup is known from other zink awards!

Juncker was my first thought as well with that hinge, we see it on their later-war LW flight clasps.

Also, the heavy file marks on the edges are also classic Juncker production techniques.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

That is what you were told after you asked the guys in Germany, not what you thought!
Rettenmaier never made the KVK 1. Class and the "scooped flatback" is a war badge

              Thanks Tom!
That would fit since the die shows crack lines and this indicates a late stamping. For sure not the pin setup that is "normal" on the Juncker KVK 1. Class made of zinc.
