Oh yes Sanya - this EK2 ... does confuse at times and I constantly get emails about it .

What that is - is a full Juncker with the hard to find - 1st 3 flaw production die and 1st tear drop core .
When you look at it up close it has quit poorly hand engraved inside corners .
To be more accurate it really only has '3 crosshatched' corners and one W&L looking corner .

The 3 flaws are still very small/minor and easily missed .

    It is very often mistaken for a W&L EK2 ... and sold as a W&L EK2 .
Good close up pictures a must to determine these features and the maker .

Photos aren't great but to me it looks like a Juncker frame. Also the finishing is Juncker style, not W&L.
        Best regards,

A frame from Junckers early days showing 'growing pains ' ... and replaced with the standard.... 4 - cross hatched .... corner frame die .
What this frame looks like and some of the easier to find identifying features of this particular 1st production die .
          Note:
High corners only refers to the position to the other left side corners ... all corners are riding up on the emblem .

Every manufacturer started some where and made gradual improvements .

I personally agree for all of the same reasons mentioned.

Now you have it in hand . I told you it was not a W&L .
Close up pictures are needed to see the poorly executed cross hatching - and - nothing covered up makes all the difference .

I agree and if have a small ring, probably not magnetic core.

I've one of this type in my collection, not often to see.

I think you're confused two things.
Here we have a Juncker's cross with crunch bead frame (and with 3-flaw) and with Juncker's core (always magnetic !) = so called Full Juncker. Rather a relatively popular Juncker's cross.
While magnetic or non-magnetic may be another core found in Juncker's crosses EK2 - this is the WFS core (= AWS).

                    Regards
                    Jarek
