Yes mint, but IMO overall it's dangerous, knowing that Orth made the decorations and after the war ...

It looks like a mint original example.

You mean we will never 100% sure it's wartime or not ?

                        Hi,

Friedrich Orth finished the production with the end of the war!

                        Best regards

"Metal-Press und Praegeanstalt Friedrich Orth Metallwarenfabrik" after the war continued to function in Wien at Schmalzhofgasse 18, and its management was taken over by Friedrich Orth III.
Please, first check and then write, it is rather a serious forum.

                            Hi,

                            Hi,

Dietrich Maerz to me in a private message:

"No problem at all. Orth never produced after the war. The L15 pins and Souval frames were the first parts used by somebody in Vienna and supplied to Johannes Floch.
                            Nice set!"

"Those guys mix up L15 with 15!"

                            Best regards

                            Fabricio

I'm glad to be with you.
I respect Detrich Maerz, from his books and articles I am getting and still learning the lessons.
But first of all, you are writing untrue about the end of Orth's firm in 1945.
Secondly, it is not about set-up (needle, hook, etc), and there is no confusion between "15" and "L15" ( it would probably have made someone at the beginning of their contact with the crosses EK1 ...) - here everything is ok.
In this case it is about the finish of this cross (polishing the frame and blackening the core). Polished frame very glossy, strokes dated 1939, 1813 and swaz poured, rounded, and the whole looks like it was produced yesterday...
Besides, I wrote explicitly IMO, and there is such a danger (not sure), and not everyone must agree with me.
                              I wish you well-being

                              Regards
                              Jarek
