Knights Cross of the WM Cross - Opinions?

Hi Guys,
A friend of mine owns an antique shop and has had this for some time. (maybe 15 years) He had $2600.00 on it which is why it has not moved.
Anyway - I told him about the forum and he asked me to post it for him. (he doesn't have a computer)
To me, it looks like a silvered model, not solid silver. It has a maker mark on the ring (L/56, or 58) it looks like. Part of the last digit is worn.
The ooks on the ribbon are crudely sewn in and I'm sure didn't come with it. (Maybe period done, maybe not)
What do you think??

Dear Scott,

The reason why this has not sold is not the price tag. It is a fake and looks nothing like an original RK KVK, just compare how slim originals are and how fat this one is! L/58 is Souval´s post war mark.
