    Well i am pretty new to all this but this is what i think;
    I think it is a fake EK1?
Because it looks like a one piece construction or repainted.
Also the 1939 and swastika looks a bit weard?

No one besides Stravers want to throw in a guess?

        Hello,
Neither the number nor the swastika bother me, but I agree that the paint seems to be apparent on the beadwork and that there doesn’t seem to be the “roll under” at the bead work-core junction that indicates three piece construction. If I didn’t know it was one piece (and I don’t) and a prospective buyer was asking for my advice (which would be blind leading the blind) I’d say, “lets see the back”.
        Regards,
        Chris

I don't personally care for the paint "build up" around the swaz and the date.

Hmmm my eyes may be playing tricks on me but it looks like a wide frame 24 in an EK1

                Ek1?

looking at the horizontal line above the 6'0' clock beading, the thin frame and the paint,a one piece strike with a wide pin and 51 stamp fake Latvian?

Well .. a couple caught on that it's not the real deal.

                  It is:

                  1. One Piece
                  2. Non Magnetic

However, not a bad repro until you look at the reverse. No markings, yet the frame is silver to some extent:

Yeah ... I was counting the "views" yet many didnt want to comment. It was pretty obvious that there was something amiss with the paint job, but other than that pretty close until the hinge gave it away.

Ive had this guy in my drawer for eons ... cant even remember where I got it years ago.

Well ... I dug it out of the drawer just the other day for the first time in 6-7 years ... so I guess you could say that
