A very nice collection! The KVK is many times underestimated, but during the war many soldiers were proud to be awarded with this cross.
I agree. Under-appreciated. Just think... even Hermann Göring (a man who wanted so badly to be awarded the RK/KVK) himself could not manage to get the Fuhrer to award him one.
Great KVK set Unfront and, unlike me (40 years ago when they were more affordable) you were smart enough to get the "big stuff" first!
At my age, KVK RKs and DKiS are definitely out of my league (unless I won a lottery or something...) but I always liked the KVK/KVM and here is a "family picture" of my little set. I'm particularly proud of the single/drapery mount sets on red and orange ribbon at right and am only missing the orange KvK without swords and the matching orange feldspanges (if they exist) to complete that set
Very nice display That KVK II "73" is not easy to find I think

Thank you. I have not seen another, in fact, Franz Mänert (73) is not listed in Gordon Williamson's book as a maker; however Mr. Williamson does mention that his list is incomplete.
