Is this round 3 EK2 OK

    Hi
this is currently up for auction at present. The current price is £90.00 and the auction ends soon. my questions are:

    1) is it OK and if so can you ID the maker &
    2) is it worth the money with the ribbon ring missing

    Many thanks

          Looks fine to me Andy..

Niemann sells these for around £170.00, so £90.00 is about right without loop.

Do you really want an incomplete EK2?

          These aren't especially scarce..

            Andy,

This looks ok to me, but you'd best wait for the experts to comment, it does however look like it's been cleaned to be honest and with the angle poor shots could be a crappy looking one in reality when in hand.

As for the maker of the round 3's I don't think thats ever been defined yet by anyone based on any premise ???

Is it worth 90 pounds, in this condition (thats $180) if it were me I'd shop over the pond or over the channel and get more for my money.......but thats just me !!!

              Hi
Many thanks for your replies. I will leave this alone and look for a complete cross. I thought they were rarer than they turn out to be.
              Thank you
              Andy

The EK 1 round '3' is the harder one to obtain, and of course is a few more quid !!!

No one has been proven as the manufacturer of "Round 3s" yet.

One more punch on the cross at hand - the frames have separated extensivly - notice the 3 o'clock frame edge on the reverse photo. More like 40 pounds to me....
