Knights Cross ribbon.... authentication please.

The man I got this from says he has the "medal" that goes on it somewhere. He's 85+ and forgetful. I on the other hand, am hopeful! Is this a genuine ribbon? And if so, what are they worth? I ask as I can find none for sale, past or present.

Passes the black light test but so does a lot of bad stuff.

ribbon

Hi the ribbon looks good but it only has 20 thread count on the white rows. The norm is 25-29 and 23 and 24 are accepted also . What does it measure across ? Cliff

What is the width of the ribbon and did you black light it ?

The ribbon is 45mm wide, and the white thread count (under 15 x mag.) is 20 just as cobra said. NO fluorescence under a black lite.
