    Rare KVK 2, help

    Hi everyone,

A workmate show me today this KVK, that was awared to his grandfather during the WW II. The only information we have is that he was Spanish and he was in the front probably as medic.

(Sorry about the poor quality of the pictures)

It's clear that is very different from the KVK we are used to see. It has very thin borders, the dots around the award, the crown around the swastika, the swastika itself... And the back side is completely different.

It reminds me the "Spanish Iron Crosses", that were made with poor quality.

Could anyone give more information about this? I've never seen something like this.

    Thanks in advance

Thanks for your comments and help.

If this soldier really was awared with the KVK, why he didn't receive the "standar or III Reich" KVK?

When I see cases like that I think all people was awared with the EK-Spanish made or the KVK-Spanish made, really they awared themselfs and they bought the awards in the supermarket.

Did the III Reich awared the Blue Division? Why this man didn't receive an standar KVK? Only for curiosity, how much can be a KVK-Spanish made?
