ek2 clasp

Has anybody ever seen an ek2 clasp like this? Is this setup authentic?

A shot of the obverse could be of some help to say more about that clasp.

Here is the obverse. The swastika has been covered up

I cannot speak to the authenticity of this clasp, but it Just doesn't make any sense in this set-up as an EK2 clasp. EK1 maybe but EK2? How would one attach this to the ribbon? Very confusing.

As I said I cannot speak to the authenticity of the clasp but my gut reaction tells me that if this is real it was a conversion for the EK1. That to me makes more sense.

Since the EK2 Clasp was worn on the ribbon just imagine the logistics of attaching this to a ribbon. The factory prongs would have been much more practical.

EK1 on the other hand... I'd love to hear about it's authenticity.

I have looked a couple of minutes on it again and I can not escape the feeling that the clasp looks more like a reproduction as a genuine one.
The reason are not the loops on the reverse, they could replaced, more the appearance of the obverse.

I do not like the head of the Eagle, but I am not 100 % sure.
