            Hello Again Friends,

Here is another one of my late Fathers pieces from the collection I inherited in 2003.

Starting with these front & rear shots first.

Don't know where he got this from. CEJ marked for Juncker's of Berlin & a 900 silver mark. Measures 55mm wide

On inspection I can confirm it is all stamped in solid silver & certainly not cast. All eagles are very neatly soldered in place. Central swastika roundel is soldered to cross. Roundel is 18mm in diameter.

I know normally Juncker's eagles swastikas have 2 filled in arms, yet on this all 3 swastika arms are fretted out?? Was there a variant?? Eagles are very neat when examined under a loup.

This Cross is deeply concave too, 14mm deep at the centre. Right arm of cross has a minor knock/damage mark.

Needle file marks throughout. Looks to be jeweller made overall.
            Is this normal??

I know there are anomalies with this, as it is a CEJ piece. It is so well put together though with individual pieces all expertly soldered in place.

Any answers on this would be much appreciated, whatever the outcome.

            Thanks again in advance.

Unfortunately your wonderful photos clearly show this is a reproduction. All details are wrong for an authentic Juncker Spain Cross (design details, construction, maker mark, etc.).

ETA: Here's an authentic CEJ 900 Spain Cross for comparison: http://forum.wehrmacht-awards.com/forums/showthread.php?t=913551

                Hi Scott,

I have been looking at all the other CEJ pieces & that is why I needed help on this.

I knew of many differences on mine. I needed to see if it was known in an original piece ever. Thought it may be a special order piece or something due to anomalies.

I can tell you this, it may be a copy, but it is of a very high standard if it is. Solid silver & all soldered together in many places.
Very much not a cheaply made all cast copy.

I know that does not mean a thing to a collector of originals.

I'll always keep it as it belonged to my father. It still looks pretty good on display either way.

Trust me for taking too good a picture aye. Ha Ha.

All the best mate & thanks.
