The Cross comes out of Austria, from a Vets Family. There is not much left beside the Cross and some Paperwork. The Name was Maximilian Ropp. They do have his Soldbuch too but they not sell it. Is sad to see the Heros are all gone. I had the luck to meet a lot of KC Winners in Person over the last 30 Years. For me never was the primar Target to get hold of the Medals but to get hold of there Storys they had to tell. And to get at last a Picture from me with him at the end. And i do have now over 30 Pictures with me and them and a lot lot good Storys who would normal be lost with them. And no matter if i got the medals or not, i always wrote the Storys down after i meet them.Last edited by FranzJosef; 04-15-2017, 01:54 AM.

That is very true. When i buy something out of a Family i tell them the market value and then make a offer..like this it should be. I never ever will pay the crazy market values they are imo nuts but i offer what i consider fair and that is it. When someone like to sell is fine if not fine too

Great
Great:-) sounds fair and alright.
Nice you write down the information you
get. The story of these great heroes are sometimes
forgotten.
