EK2 LDO Suval Octagon question

Hello gentlemen,

I have the opportunity to purchase the following EK2 boxed in what appears to be an okay case, my question is were the Ek's in these boxes maker marked as well as I cannot find an answer anywhere.

I forgot to add the box is stamped L/58 on the bottom

Box looks fine to me as a wartime EK2 box. Most had there stamp on bottom of box. Cross though is not a match to the box. TPK

No not always to my knowledge but the cross should match the maker on box and this is not a souval cross. Others will be able to tell you who maker of cross is. TPK

All LDO private sale crosses had to be marked .
My understanding is that boxes could be bought separately and were unmarked .
The box being marked would indicate to me it once had a L-58 EK2 in it as a matching set .
