    Cased EK 1 arrived today

Well, this came in the mail today. I was very happy when I opened it up! As a member now for a few months, and surfer before that, I think (hope, believe) that I have gained some knowledge through the sweat and dedication of the rest of you. I have a good idea about this cross already, but would like to have a couple of opinions to see if I've really learned anything (such as how to use the search function).
I await any and all replies to see if I've really got a (small) grip on things...

Last one. bottom of case has been black taped. Insert removed has the 621 K. B. in it.

So - any and all feedback appreciated, to see if my thoughts are confirmed. Many thanks in advance!

One last thing....there's a MM of sorts on the pin. Will leave that "open" until I hear a few opinions, then pass on what it is.

Most unusual. The hinge is much the same as for early Schinkelform EKs. But this is obviously not a Schinkel.

Any way you can post a closeup of the mm?

                            Hi,

The case looks like it may be original but, imo, based on that hinge/pin construction, the cross is a repro - definitely NOT early schinkel or round 3 construction.

                            Regards

I found this one in my fake folder. Note the uneven 1939.

                              Cheers.
