I have found a Carl Wild unmarked KVKI without swords, with IMO exact the same hardware!

Despite the similarities in the catch and hinge plate, this is not a Carl Wild. The die is different. It is either an unknown (early) maker or a fake.

I am sorry but this is way out of my league. I thought I bought an unmarked not worn and mint Carl Wild. It weights 21.1 gramm. That´s is all a know and to be honest, I cannot find much pieces from Carl Wild to compare.
Good it be an early tombak unknown piece from Carl Wild?

With a Präsidialkanzlei number of 107 C. Wild is one of the later companies. If Wild made an early model it must have been with a different die. This piece is not the same die as the known original die. It is also not a Tombak piece, it is clearly zinc (which is past mid 1942). I said early beacuse of the lack of a number, not because of possible Tombak.

This KVK1 is not from Karl Wild

                  See below:

There too much characteristics far away from the 107 marked KVK1!

Just what I say before, I am not an expert and for me it was a Karl Wild. As an expert you look it from your point of view. But don´t get me wrong, I am happy with the opinions, but it is for me a little bit confusing.
Is it a fake or an unknown piece?

As mentioned this is not a C Wild KvK 1 .
I would say it is original piece -- who made it I do not know .
