One Piece Heavy EK2 Repro?

This came in a lot of various medals tho I don't believe it to be an original but you never know as I'm always learning in this hobby; thanks for any help in advance

Yes, my first impression is that this is a reproduction. But I could be wrong. The flanges are rather thick like you say, and the rims are irregular (non-symetrical).

IMO it's post-war one-piece cross = fake. Sorry.
