    Iron Crosses x2

    Hi out There!
Just a general question please. Can anyone give me just a brief opinion on these two Iron Crosses. Is there anything special or different about them or are they just 'normal' iron Crosses.
I was offered them a couple of days ago along with a series of other quite interesting and I think 100% genuine items. I'm trying to work out a price for the whole collection of items I was offered so I am asking on the forum for general advice on the items so I can try and work out if the price he asks for the collection is fair.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
    Thanking you in advance,
    Terry.

Agree with Sanya. The Assmann/Linden Schinkel paint looks like that because the Zinc core has started to "bubble" aka Zinc Pest.

I like all these not very beautiful (but with character) Linden's crosses - nice schinkel.

For me Assmann's are crosses so called "Variant 8" (quite another crosses - and frame, and core, and finish) ... of course IMO

              Regards

The Assmann connection is a bit unstable for me with the Variant 8, possible yes...

But remember why the cross is either Linden Schinkel/Assmann Schinkel, they have in their catalogues from 1920/30 a 1914 EK2 which has the same frame as this oen and is a common cross in imperial section. No one knows the maker for sure, but I for sure say it's still unsure and not to be called strictly a FLL product
This info is more known in the Imperial Section.

                  Hello Daniel,

I try to read all the discussions about the Linden's / Assmann's crosses date.
It seemed to me, however, that the images of imperial crosses from "sales catalogs", are not so clear and precise that on their basis we can extend far-reaching conclusions ... but I assume that I can be wrong.

Can you give me Daniel a link to a discussion where such pictures from catalogs were presented? Please.
                  Thank you in advance.

                  Regards
                  Jarek
