    CF Zimmermann Pforzheim EK2?

    Hi

    I must ask the experts.

Did CF Zimmermann made any EK2 marked with 20 or L/52?

They did marked DKIG and EK1.

    Any inputs are welcome.

From what we know C.F. Zimmermann produced crosses EK2-1939 for Godet (to order Godet).

C.F. Zimmermann alone does not sell crosses EK2-1939 and I never saw crosses EK2-1939 signed L/52 or 20.

I haven't seen a marked ek2 so far, but I do have a very nice L/52 marked LdO case for an ek2.
With a Zimmermann ek in it......

But is it not strange that Zimmermann did for example a very nice EK1 and not a EK2 ?

You have to buy the Godet's cross EK2
It is possible that all Godet's crosses EK2 produced for him C.F.Zimmermann (he did not sell them).

                        Hi Ben,

An interesting set ... it could indicate that C.F.Zimmermann sold on the private market, some crosses made for Godet in his order
In the end, the money does not stink ... you have to earn.

Would be interesting to see C.F.Zimmermann's war-time Catalog of product sales - ...or had in his offer crosses EK2-1939 ?

                        Regards
                        Jarek
