    EK2-1914 WW2 unmagnetic signed 4 !!!???

What do You think about this cross on Berlin-Militaria

    http://militaria-berlin.de/verkauf/n...agnetisch.html

Such a "follower" I see for the first time, and somehow I can not believe that it is from the period of WW2 war, this not magnetic core raises my suspicion that it is the production of post-war ... ?

Only orders and badges of the Third Reich, ordered by the Präsidialkanzlei, were to tbe marked with the PKZ-number. The PKZ would never have ordered WW1 EK2 in 1943. For what purpose?

Either the ring was changed/mixed up, or it was stamped incorrectly in the factory. The non-magnetic core is not a problem IMO since the WW1 medals did not fall under the PKZ or LDO supervision. They were badges from a state no longer in existence.

Definitely an interesting piece, but looks postwar to me even without the PKZ mark. That kind of chipped silver frame finish and non-magnetic core are very typical of postwar S&L production in my opinion

I am assuming you mean post WWII? My early 57er S&L EK II comes with a wartime marked ring (4).

My non-magnetic Deschler Imperial EK2 also comes with a marked ring.
I always believed it was made during the Third Reich period.

          45.2mm x 45.1mm, 3 piece construction with superb detail.
