Hi guys, what do you think of this boxed ek1? It's a L/13 stamped on the pin. A strange thing is that it looks like there had been an other medal in the box, because of the circle...

i think its a variant type,cheers chay

perhaps an old 'table medal' sat in it for a while leaving the round impression...the cross looks nice and good to me.

Hi Giel,

As you know, it's not unusual to marry stray crosses and cases. Both look good, and as was suggested, something (who knows what) was stored in the case long enough to leave an impression in the top satin of the case. Too bad about the document.
