    Orange EK2 / RK ribbons

    Dear All,

What is the deal with orange EK2 and esp. RK ribbons. Were they one manufacturers variety, a non-confirming batch, early production, or...

    Do we know?

    Thanks and best regards,
    Albert

      I vote "early production".

As on this Schinkel-form, next to a "round 3" and its ribbon for shade comparison. Pay no mind to the Blue Dingus in the background.

                Orange Ribbon

This ribbon is made by the Loy firms which features a very noticeable orange cast to the red stripe. The Rk is a early 57 with WW11 Schickle frames.

The "orange" ribbon is typical of early Juncker RK's.
