I agree with Jim. Here is the prinzen one (24mm) I got a few years back. The clips look longer and sturdier on mine but its the same "bird". It looked pretty good at first glance until I unfolded the clips and saw the "0" maker's mark underneat. Luckily I was able to return it!

Fortunately it flew back from whence it came and instead I managed to find a nice, original Mayer on the Estand here for less money.

Thanks Ian, hard to judge the spange size from the ribbon because they came in both 25 & 30mm width. So robot fakes exist in both 25 & 30mm width: how kind of this faker to make matched sets

Glad to see you managed to make good on that wooden nickle too. I wasnt so lucky as you: I got a good Deumer prizen from the same source but for the same price...
