Dear all, this is a very very rare piece with 327 awarded. I understand that a lot of Spanish Crosses without swords were ones with swords being cut off. To me, the example here is an early Juncker awarded early example which left the factory without swords. However, as you can see, the backplate of the round part is quite uneven and is quite crude. Is it a sign of swords being cut? I am quite confused, especially whilst this example is supposed to be attributed (to Lothar Uhlig). Thanks in advance.
