    EK1 Deschler L/10 and a strongly marked EK2

    Good day folks

Firstly an L/10 Deschler & Sohn with a screw back. For some reason I think it may be a fake.

And coming up an EK2 with what looks like a cancelled mark.

    Thanks

    James

One mark looks to have been struck out and the other looks like 25 perhaps or maybe 28.

Is this marking a big red flag or just a factory mistake or something else?

      Many thanks

      James

The L/10 a good piece but the EK2 marked mark not good
            the EK2 cross as a good original Gustav Brehmer ( 13 ) type ,

IMO this is a later notation

Looks like the EK2 was marked at one time as a 13 . ..... attempt to stamp in 21 on the other side .
Agree - done post war .

Thanks folks. That is most helpful. I wonder why someone would bother to re-stamp it post war.

                Interesting none the less.

Both medals are not my area of collecting and came with other items so both are seeking a new home.
