    A KVK1 that looks fishy???

Here is a KVK that I purchsed last year fromt the corner of an antique store. I already know that no one is going to like the pin, nor the number on the pin, I cant even make out what number it is (any thoughts?) Could it be a Rudolph Souval? Latvian? Real???

I think yours is a good maker marked 62.

Compare it with those in this thread:

See what you think comparing it to those photos.

It is a perfectly good "62." (The marks on these are often mistaken for "52." In fact, I've even seen them offered on dealers' sites as "52s." )

Well that makes me happy - on another site everyone bashed it as a fake - yet could not confirm - it was 'the pin looks funny', yes I could not determine if it was a 52 or a 62. Many thanks - one thing I noticed on the link pasted was that the pins of the two crosses are different - the first cased one is similar to mine - 'straight' while the other one posed for comparison is more 'coke bottle'. Though the 62 is just as poorly stamped making it difficult to discern 52 or 62.
