    Knight´s Cross red leaher folder/Mappe

    Hello gents,

I´ve got some pictures of a red leather folder which seems to be a Knight´s Cross mappe.

I´ve never seen a writing like "F.T. Berchesgaden" instead of "Frieda Thiersch". It seems not to be one of the common fakes that we all know for a few years now but:

    What is it?

Sadly I don´t have any dimensions and no better pics.

    Thanks for your opinions.

IMO not original. And these kind of Mappe wash´t exclusively used for KC citations. What size is it?

                Thanx Ludwig

for your opinion. Sadly I don´t know the sizes, I don´t own that Mappe. It is offered to me.

Any other opinions or ideas for it?

I don't like it either. The eagle and all the highlights including the makers name don't look real gold leaf to me but some kind of paint...

originals have Frieda Thiersch's signature rather than a location...

Maybe a promotion doc folder? Or some other doc folder

... yes, that was what I was thinking of, too.

The astonishing thing to me was the use of the "F.T. Berchtesgaden"; everyone knows the use of "Frieda Thiersch" on genuine Folders a n d promotion doc folders of generals.

So why did the fakers use thistime a totally wrong wording?

                          Best Regards
