I have the first edition(2000).

Is the edition printed in 2007 that much better ? I know it has a few more pages.

The later version has numerous corrections related to the first one, and a number of additional images. It's not totally necessary to get the second, but worth it. I have both.

Was there ever a correction sheet made available for those with first run ?

I don't think so, but there was a thread here years ago entitled "Mistakes in the Iron Time", or something similar. There are also pieces in the second edition that were included in the first one, that are correctly described as bad.

The books are basically completely different. The second is much much better and well worth owning.

I have both as well. The 2nd book is well worth the money.
